Welcome to the James Connolly League
The James Connolly League was formally launched in 2024 in Greater Manchester with supporters from England, Scotland and Ireland. We campaign for a united, sovereign and socialist Ireland.
We launched the league after the former Connolly Association ended. We promote awareness of the great representatives and movements of Irish republicanism, especially the socialist and internationalist James Connolly. We also consider national democratic movements around the world, past and present, with parallels to issues within the Irish struggle.
